The first step in construction of the coupler tube, was to lay out all the parts I was going to need. This included precutting the fiberglass. For this tube I used enough for one complete wrap of 10.5 oz glass. |

| I mixed up enough West Systems epoxy for the job and poured it into a plastic pan. | |

| Using a large (2") paint brush I completely covered the inside of the coupler tube with epoxy. | |
