Black Brant Shock Cords


Here's a shot of the first of two 150 foot rolls of 2" tubular nylon to be used to bring the Black Brant safely to earth. 
The ends will be sewn with a "double box" stitch.  And the ends will be fashioned into Rocket Rage "Cobra Heads"

Black Brant Pilot Chute

  
Carl Delzell has manufactured a new line of pilot chutes.  The chute pictured here is a prototype, and will be used in the Black Brant. This pilot chute will be used to pull the deployment bag off the 27' drogue / nose cone chute of the Brant. Details of the chute include nylon reinforced border and seams. Kevlar thread stitching throughout, and tubular nylon shroud lines.
